Apprentices (m/f)
An apprenticeship provides excellent opportunities for a successful career start.
You can apply for an apprenticeship as a Steuerfachangestellte (m/f) (assistant tax consultant). In order to apply, you must possess qualifications, preferably at A-Level (German Abitur) or the subject-related entrance qualification (vocational technical diploma)/advanced technical college certificate (Fachhochschulreife). The apprenticeship takes three years and uses a dual training system. This means it is comprised of a practical part, which is completed in our tax consultancy department and a theoretical part, achieved by attending a vocational school (“Berufsschule“), where you will acquire the theoretical knowledge of taxation and accounting, as well as business studies and commercial law.
After having successfully passed all interim and final exams and provided you have convinced us of your professional qualifications and personal commitment during your apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity of working largely independently for our clients in the following areas:
- Accounting and economic assessments
- Financial accounting
- Payroll accounting
- Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for companies and private individuals
- Checking the tax authority’s tax assessments.
After having gained three years of practical experience you will have the chance to climb the next rung:Training to become a tax specialist. A successfully passed exam as a tax specialist can serve as a first step on your way to becoming a Certified Tax Accountant.

After having successfully completed your school education or your commercial training you are currently studying a relevant subject such as Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Law, which will enable you to work in an accountancy and / or auditing environment in the future. Are you currently following a bachelor of master programme in a relevant subject area and are majoring in relevant subjects?
You can complete an internship with us in your semester breaks or as an entire practical study semester. We offer internships of between six weeks and six months, subject to your personal requirements. During your internship you will be part of our project teams, who will give you insights into the daily work in the areas of tax consultancy, auditing and transaction-related consultancy work.
Would you like to work as well as study?
As a working student (m/f) you will be able to work on a broad spectrum of responsible tasks in our areas Tax & Audit as well as Transaction & Advisory alongside your studies – possibly also after having successfully completed an internship with us.
